Chips or Fries? (Hardcover)

What a lovely book! As an American expat in London for 15 years, there were still some phrases I didn’t know. Love it!

I love this book. I sat yesterday with my 5yr old grandson and he laughed so much at all the new words. I am Scottish and we live in the US. His mum was born in Scotland so I am introducing him to a different life. I was surprised how extensive the book is so we will be reading it for quite sometime. I have to say I am enjoying it as much as he is. It’s a great book for families on both sides of the pond or just for people visiting either countries for the first time. I thoroughly recommend it. You will not be disappointed.

Grown ups learn a lot alongside the kids- and it’s so much fun! Excellent illustrations too

We received the book quickly and enjoyed reading during the Thanksgiving holiday. My British husband and I had a good laugh at some of the differences, and my kids enjoyed the book and activity sheets. Thank you!
